1     Is it an overnight camp   No.   There are a few Five-Star Camps in the East that have overnight opportunities. See www.five-starbasketball.com  

2     What are the hours of the camp?      9:00am  to  4:00pm daily. 

3     Do you have before and after care hoursNo, there are no after care hours.
Doors open at 8:15am and campers must be picked up by 4:30 pm.
Five-Star - BL - KIHS are not responsible for campers picked up after 4:30pm.
An early arrival on Monday is recommended to avoid lines at the Check-In Table.

4     What if I have to arrive late, leave early, or even miss a day?    You may if necessary, however, we discourage missing any days, as it impacts upon team and group activities.   

5     How do I enroll?      Download a PDF copy of our Registration Form from the website, or e-mail: coachsbaker@fivestarbaltimore.com to receive a brochure. Fill out the Registration Form and send in a check, or Money Order to our P.O. Box address. Credit Card registrations accepted online. (See Home Page) Upon receipt of payment you will receive a Camp Orientation Sheet via email. 

6     Can I walk in and register on the spot?    Yes, but you should call in advance to check on our number of registered campers, as some of our sessions may fill up and sellout.   

7     What is a typical day like?     Competitive Basketball activities in an instructional environment: Teaching Stations, Lectures, Contests, Competitions, 2 Games per Day, and Individual instruction.                

8     What should I bring?    Come ready to play....shorts, shirts and shoes.  You may bring a gym bag/napsack with an extra T-shirt, towel, etc.  Lunch and drinks are provided.   

9     Can I wear a hat, do-rag, earring, watch, jewelry, or other adornments?    No, you can not play with them on and most of your time will be spent playing and competing, so please leave those items at home.  

10   What is the makeup of your staff?  We currently have 20 High School Head Coaches, 16 Assistant Coaches, and 14 college players on our staff.  We employ a Certified Athletic Trainer, all day at every one of our sessions.   

11   How are campers grouped?     There are three age classifications:  Elementary, Middle, and High School divisions.  Monday morning we have a “tryout session” and campers are grouped accordingly-  by size, age, and ability. 

12   What is the lunch program?   Campers may bring their own lunch, or purchase pizza and subs. Free POWERADE drinks.

13   What is the Camp Store?    The Camp Store sells Five-Star Gear, snacks, chips, & drinks during the camp day.  Upon check-in/arrival on Monday morning, you will be asked if you want to deposit any money to start an account.  Whatever amount you wish to deposit will be the amount of credit you have in the store.  At the end of camp, any unspent money will be returned to you in full.  This is an optional program, but it is highly recommended that campers do not carry cash.   

14   Are parents permitted to attend and watch daily activities?     Yes, parents are welcome as long as it is not on an all day, everyday basis.
